Walk Card Bagging for Victory
Thousands of Committeeman Literature Bags Now Await Voters’ Doors
Sixteen freedom-loving Republicans from across Palatine Township braved a January evening downpour and high winds to gather in a fun-filled walk card bagging party for David Prichard, candidate for Palatine Township Republican Committeeman on the March 17 primary ballot.
Enjoying delicious pizza, salad and dessert, the patriots placed walk cards in an amazing and estimated 2,800 plastic bags at the event, held at the Palatine Park District Community Center on Thursday, January 8.
“A huge thank-you to everyone who was able to turn out to help in this important campaign undertaking,” Prichard said. “A number of other volunteers were under the weather or had unbreakable conflicts, or the turnout would have even been larger than it already was, which exceeded our expectations.”
“Referee” Prichard declared the competitive bagging frenzy a “draw,” saying “Everybody was such a fast bagger even while catching up on each other’s family and career activities and enjoying the food. Their focus and speed resulted in far more filled plastic bags than we had hoped for.
“This is a big boost to our campaign momentum,” Prichard continued, “as we quickly pivot now to door knocking, placing literature at front doors and delivering the many yard signs that have been requested across the township.”
Now on to the front doors of Palatine Township Republican voters and victory on March 17!
Festive Holiday Reception Celebrates Signature Circulators, Ballot Petition Acceptance and Campaign to Elect David Prichard the Next Palatine Township Republican Committeeman
Nearly 50 Republicans from across Palatine Township gathered on December 8 at Tap House Grill to herald the blessed Christmas season, enjoy a delicious buffet and generate excitement and momentum for the campaign to victory on Primary Election Day, March 17, 2026 and a much-needed, vibrant new chapter for Township Republicans.
In brief remarks, Republican Committeeman candidate David Prichard thanked the many patriots who collected ballot petition signatures, signed the petition and/or provided related support, all of which led to his successful filing of a strong 1,748 signatures on November 3. This signature total is believed to be the 3rd largest among all Cook County Township Republican Committeeman filings.
Many valuable suggestions were received during the reception to help rejuvenate, restructure and rebuild the Republican Party in Palatine Township. Attendees agreed that new management, new approaches and programs, and a fresh volunteer corps are among the ingredients that will ensure the Republican organization is an honorable, principled, transparent, efficient and active community force.
Prichard said he was truly humbled by the strong turnout at the holiday reception, noting that many others simply could not attend due to conflicts.
He added many Republicans already have offered to volunteer in the campaign, request a yard sign and donate.
“Enough is enough,” Prichard said. “We can do -- and deserve – better for Republicans in Palatine Township. Together we will move forward to victory on March 17, 2026 and begin a new growth era.”
