Parade Saturday!New Video Dear Subscriber First Name, We are looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade this Saturday! Please dress for the weather as it’s going to be a chilly one. It is a short, fun parade though and we hope you bundle up and join us! We have goodies to hand out to the kids and campaign literature for the parents. Or, you can march holding a sign. The parade organizers are instructing walkers to park or be dropped off at the Aquatic Center parking lot, just west of Walgreens off Palatine Road, and to arrive by 9:45 am. However, given the weather, we do not want you getting cold for an hour before the parade starts. So feel welcome to stay warm in your car for a bit if you do park at the Aquatic Center OR find parking elsewhere, such as the parking garage off Colfax near Durty Nellies, where the parade ends. Please join us at the spot around 10:30 am. The parade steps off at 11 am. The staging area is in front of Village Hall, 200 E. Wood Street.
