If elected, I will NOT tolerate any secret, self-serving deals that may arise during my term of office, and I will NOT use the Committeeman position for personal gain or advancement. Our local Republican organization must have a singular focus on conservative values and issues, Township voters, and our candidates. As your new Committeeman, I will serve you each and every day to ensure our efforts are aimed at rejuvenating, rebuilding and growing again with a real grassroots, ground operations program. Philippians 2: 3-4 “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.” My 8 years of combined Board-level service with the Palatine and Elk Grove Township Republican organizations uniquely equips me. I know what the problems are and I know how to fix them. After talking with scores of Republicans in the past year, and especially while collecting more than 900 signatures at voters’ doors for my petition filing last fall, I was troubled by the feedback I received about the local Republican organization. I learned a lot out in the field. A summary of frequent comments includes: I didn’t know there was a local Republican organization. I’ve never been contacted by the organization. What does a committeeman do? The website is really outdated and has wrong information. The office is never open. I’ve sent letters to the organization and never got a reply. I’ve requested yard signs and never had them delivered.
And on and on went the feedback. I know a number of you want to volunteer, but you’ve never been approached. You told me as much. There has been next to no face-to-face outreach in our 65 Township precincts and their many unique neighborhoods. I pledge to you that will change. Aggressive recruitment will begin for new blood and new members -- patriots who proudly accept the call to action. * * * * * * * * * * Good news! Our yard signs are appearing at many more locations across the Township, from Rolling Meadows to Palatine and Hoffman Estates to Inverness. Our signs can be planted in the extreme cold, often with the aid of a rubber mallet, and we are happy to help you get that done. Just let us know if you will host a sign by replying to this email.
